Who, or what, is the Bengali babu?
It's more than 2 years I'd read that statement and the historic 'devastating' response to that as the author of 'The Shade of Swords', M.J. Akbar quoted in his book, it's devastating indeed. What's even more interesting is that the answer to that question was given by a Bengali Babu - Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay, author of Vande matharam.
